Mechanical Engineer (Fit Out)

- The Mechanical Engineer must follow retail/offices delivery flowchart process (kick-off meeting, technical design meetings, preconstruction meeting, testing and commissioning before tenants opening in coordination with relevant departments).

- Have in depth knowledge of the HVAC and Plumbing disciplines and general understanding of Electrical, Structural, Civil, Statutory, Fire Alarm system, Firefighting,, Plumbing, ELV, utilized in the project.

- Maintain regular contact with the Design, Project and Construction Team, Tenants and their Contractors.

- Review, Comment and Approve/Reject on Concept Designs of Mechanical (Structural, Civil, -Statutory, Fire Alarm system, Firefighting, ELV), Shop drawings and As-build drawings as per International and Local regulations (NFPA,ASHRAE, etc.).

- Regular Supervision and Monitoring of Tenant Fit-Out works on Site as per approved detailed design.

- Manage and sign close-out documentation and report on completion.

- Conduct, arrange, attend and confirm arrangements for any detailed pre inspections required before the meeting.

- Produce/close a snag list, handover certificates and ensure that works are completed based on approved drawings, plans, specifications, calculations etc.

- Identify the proposed handover date or dates for the Premises and the several parts (if /as applicable) of the Extended Fit-Out Area prior to handover.

- Monitor and report on completion, issue/sign approval to trade certificate, clear all snags and commission the works.

- Prepare, update weekly progress trackers and reports for Senior Manager-Tenant Relations and Project Manager.

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

-Design reading

- International and local standards familiarity

- Client-oriented, communication skills

- Conflict solving, decision-making

- Solid knowledge of English and Russian languages is a must

QUALIFICATION

- Bch’s Degree in Civil Structural, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

- Master’s degree in Engineering is an advantage

- Certificate of Expert’s I Category for MEP, Architectural, Structural, FLS systems from Local Authorities is an advantage
